What could be better than enjoying a few days in a relaxed atmosphere at Øigardseter, with opportunities for both adults and children to experience everything the mountains have to offer? You can choose between staying in one of Øigardseter’s hotel rooms or in one of our cosy cabins. The hotel has a total of 40 rooms divided into double rooms, twin rooms, single rooms and family rooms (four beds).
We have two, large lounges with open fireplaces and lots of seating. We have a sauna for you, free internet throughout the entire area and free parking just outside the hotel. Here is a big, green garden where you can stroll around or just sitt on a bench and read after a long day hiking and we also have a veranda which is perfect for admiring the sunset. Our dining room is spacious and light and we serve traditional, homemade norwegian food. Every morning you can enjoy a big breakfast buffet.
The cabins are of varying sizes and can accommodate from 2 to 16 people. All our cabins are self-catering. However, at an additional cost, visitors can have their beds made for them and bathroom towels can be provided. We can also clean your room at the end of your stay if you so wish. All meals can be purchased at the hotel (when it is open) if you don’t want to cook yourself, or just feel for some luxury for one evening.
All our cabinguests can make use of the hotel’s facilities free of charge when the hotel is open.
Seize the opportunity to take someone you are fond of on a mountain hike in a traditional setting. This is a place for those who wish for a genuine experience and traditional Norwegian mountain lodge life. Enjoy tasty, homemade food along with a wonderful view of the mighty mountains.
Hotel
We start the summerseason 1 june 2024. Very welcome to us!
Our hotel rooms are located on the ground and first floors, close to cosy communal areas and the dining room. We have four different types of hotel rooms so that you can always find something that suits you, your family and your travel companions. The views are great from all of our rooms, either facing south west over Anaripigg, Heimfjell and Blåhø, towards Jotunheimen or north east with Sletthøe and inwards the higher peaks in Rondane.
Afternoon coffee and tea are included in your stay and available in the reception area. We have a pool table and you may borrow many different types of board games, suitable for both adults and children.
Information is provided every morning about current events that are taking place nearby and other useful information such as the weather forecast and ski trail reports during the winter season. The staff in the reception are always there to help you with whatever it might be.
Double room
We offer double rooms with comfortable doublebeds.
All rooms have their own toilet and bathroom. There is also a couple of chairs and a small table, for you to sit and relax a bit before you go to bed.

Family room
We offer family rooms with room for four persons, in two bunk beds. Perfect for the family who wish to share the same room.

Gammelsetra
Gammelsetra is a charming and cozy cabin. It’s located by the hotel just beside skitracks and trails. It’s suitable for 2-6 persons.
The cabin has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and two bunk beds and one with two separate beds). There is also a small but fully equiped kitchen, diningarea, a cosy livingroom and a modern bathroom.
In the livingroom you’ll find a large fireplace, and the old wooden walls creates a relaxing atmosphere. TV and WiFi.

Hans og Aase-stugu
Hans og Aase-stugu is located just downside the hotel, close to ski tracks and walking trails. The cabin is suited for bigger families or friends who want to have lots of space. Here is room for up to 8 persons.
The apartment consists of four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two livingrooms and a kitchen. The upstairs livingroom has a fireplace. There is also an outdoor area and a balcony with a lovely view. TV and wifi.

Horgen
Do you prefer cooking some of your own meals or do you wish for a bit more space? Then our apartment “Horgen” with two rooms would be a perfect choice.
The apartment consists of a living room with TV and kitchenette, a big bathroom and a bedroom with a double bed.
If you need an extra bed, there is an sleeping-sofa in the livingroom or it’s also possible to put in an extra bed. Room for 2-3 persons.

Storhytta
Storhytta (“The Big Cabin”) is our largest cabin with a total of 16 beds (divided into seven bedrooms), beautifully situated just above the hotel.
Here there is a livingroom with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom - with to showers, two toilets and your own sauna. A nice cabin for the whole family or to gather a big bunch of friends.

Finalcleaning costs from NOK 900 to NOK 2000, depending on size of the cabin, how many guests you are and for how long you are staying. Bedlinen/towels can be rented from us for NOK 150 per person.
All our cabin guests can use the hotel facilities free of charge when the hotel is open. Then there is also possible to purshase meals inside.
Discounts and extras
Half board: – NOK 40 per night.
Children in extra bed: 0–2 years free, 3-9 years 3/4 price, 10–15 years 1/2 price. Childrens bed: NOK 150 (for kids 0-2 years)
Adult in extra bed: –25 %.
Dog: NOK 100 per dog, per night.
3/4 board includes breakfast, packed lunch + filled thermos and a three-course dinner.
Cancellation policy:
You can cancel your reservation 14 days before arrival without any costs. Later cancellation will be charged 50 % of the full price for the entire stay. If you cancel closer than seven days to arrival day, if you don’t show up or if you terminate your stay, you will be charged 100 % of the full price for the entire stay. All cancellations and changes must be done in writing.
